girls loving each other...?

the most nichijou moment of my life was about 2 months ago when i was like one week into being in vietnam and I thought I lost my passport. i was looking everywhere in a state of panic and when I got on my hands and knees by my bed I thought I saw something under there. so i was just like “OH! I THINK I SEE SOMETHING” so i go scrambling for my phone. i turn on the flashlight. and then under the bed was an entire bulb of garlic

another choice nichijou moment of my life was probably 5-6 months ago, also here in vietnam. i walked to the grocery store and while I was in the grocery store it just started pouring down raining. so i stood outside the grocery store under the awning and ate my grocery store sushi and an orange drank watching people. Across the street, there was a coffee shop and I saw another westerner. He had a really big backpack on and he was also standing around looking at the rain. After a few minutes, I saw him take off his backpack and look around inside. He pulls out a *yo-yo* and starts trying to use it. He tries to do a few tricks, namely the one where you make a triangle with the string, and fails. He tried to just regular yo-yo too and he couldn’t do that. This took place in the course of about 30 seconds. He gives up, puts the yo-yo back in his backpack, and then immediately puts his poncho on and gets on his motorbike and leaves. The rain had not changed at all in intensity, the boy just needed to leave. and that’s another nichijou moment

there was also one time when i saw probably about 10 buddhist nuns walking down the street. all of them were laughing and one of them was carrying a very large pizza and i thought that was very beautiful and pretty nichijou

There’s this girl at my school and she’s really nice and I remember sometime last year at one point she would carry a clicker around and click it everytime she had a happy thought/something good happened/she laughed etc.
It was always kind of cute how you’d just hear the little click every once in a while throughout class it always made me smile knowing that it was bc something made her feel happy idk

she was training herself to be happy oh my god

does it work???? Imagine feeling yourself slipping into depression and you just click a few times and your brain says “wait, this is the sound of happiness I have to release serotonin”

She fucking Pavlov’d herself, the absolute madwoman

Just a head’s up, when meat eaters say things like “I’m glad you’re not like most vegans you’re cool about it” what they really mean is “I’m glad you’re silent about animal cruelty so I can eat animals without having to think about it.”

No actually what they likely mean is “I’m glad you’re not like PETA and compare women’s bodies to beef and pork” or “I’m glad you’re not the type of asshole who blames poor people for not being able to afford healthy vegan foods instead of getting upset at the grocery chains who throw out tons and tons of perfectly good produce”

see also: “im glad youre not one of those vegans who compares the meat industry to the holocaust”. anti-semetic, sexist, racist, and classist rhetoric is unfortunately quite common among vegans and it’s disingenuous as hell to act like having an issue with that is silencing vegans.

Also “I’m glad you aren’t one of those vegans who thinks I should put my health on the line”

“I’m glad you don’t harass me over my life choices because you’re a decent fucking human being who realizes that throwing humans under the bus so you can have an ego trip is a shitty thing to do”

Also: I’m glad you’re not one of those vegans who lies about what’s in food they’re feeding me when I ask about my allergens so that I don’t have to risk literally dying

“i’m glad you’re not literally blaming global climate change on me, personally, for liking cheese while corporations dump pollution directly into the ozone by the ton because it saves them a few dollars”

“i’m glad you’re not getting on a moral high horse about animal cruelty while ignoring the human rights abuses that go into farming your vegan faves like quinoa”

Reductress really taking no prisoners today

The best part:

“It’s a common misconception that members of gay relationships have to map onto the roles of a straight couple: woman and asshole,” said Acharya. “But neither of us is the asshole; that’s the entire point.”

Ryser had a number of follow-up questions to this explanation.

“So, if neither of you is the asshole,” said Ryser, “then who plays devil’s advocate when you’re having sensitive political conversations? Who takes the other person’s side when you describe a microaggression? And who gets furious when you’re driving and one of you has to pee?”

Demonstrating immense patience, Acharya tried once more to help Ryser understand.

“None of those things are necessary for a relationship,” said Acharya. “In fact, they’re all bad. People in straight relationships should not do those things either.”

Big Ol’ Call For Assistance

radicalapollo:

Hey friendos, my names Rad and I play video games on Twitch and make videos for youtube! Also art sometimes. (Need to get a new tablet though.)

And I could use some help.

For a good while now, I’ve been making videos with the intention of making some fun things that many people could feel comfortable with, and more than anything, have a fun time with. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, a black man, and someone with my own fair share of mental illnesses, I know full well how hard it is to find stuff out there that doesn’t, like, spit in your face for who you are as a person, especially in the video game streaming/video community, and I wanted to create another space where that kind of thing isn’t a problem.

So I made my streams, and I made my channels, which you can find at all these following links:

https://www.twitch.tv/radicalapollo

https://www.youtube.com/c/RADPLAYSHQ

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC571Wv1lsQs9DQl32XeWPYA

And it has been going pretty well, I think, but I need some help. Times are tight for me at the moment, and I need some serious assistance if I’m going to keep making content like I am. So not too long ago I started up a Patreon, and I’ve recently revamped it to make it much simpler. You can find that link here:

https://www.patreon.com/RadPlays

I’m trying my best to make content people really want to see, so if you’re interested in taking part, all that’s needed is 1 dollar or more if you wish, and you would be a massive, amazing help. More than that, if you can tell people about my streams and about what I’m trying to do, that would be really amazing.

I also have a Discord channel, which I’m trying to run to be peaceful and as a nice place to hang out in general, and you’ll also get updates about the channel and when I’ll be streaming with it, so feel free to join!

Thank you for taking the time out to read this, I hope you have a nice day <3.
